MAY 29 INAUGURATION SPECIAL;HON. IDIMOGU SELLS OFF SHUTTLE BUSES

Indications are that member representing OshodiIsolo 11 at the Lagos House of Assembly; Hon. Sir Jude Chukwuemeka Idimogu may have sold off all his shuttle buses.

The Suzuki mini buses gleefully promoted and branded ABUNDANCE, the nickname of the law maker were procured during his early days at the Lagos House of Assembly and shuttled Ajao estate and Ejigbo Lagos route.

No reason has been given for the outright sale of the nearly dilapidated buses that once littered the complex where the law maker has his constituency office in various state of disrepair.

The rumour mill say the buses have become unmanageable and ill maintained by its overseers and had to be offloaded to the highest bidder.

Insiders say when the buses began stranding passengers due to regular breakdown and became a conduit pipe for waste of funds for the constituency office of the law maker, he had to seek ways of disposing them.

No one could confirm the terms of agreement with the drivers however ECD learnt that it suddenly degenerated to a cash leakage pipe for the Idimogu constituency office.

However, Mr. Uzodinma Henry, an aide to Hon Idimogu, in a recent discussion said “the news that the buses have been sold is a handiwork of detractors.“

In his words, “Hon Idimogu has his shuttle buses intact. A Few of the buses are undergoing repairs after the elections”

However many members of Idimogu campaign organisation say the Abundance shuttle buses were already dead before the last campaigns as public buses were hired to convey the members of the team.
