STOP VANDALISING HOMES IN SEARCH OF METALS, SERIKI HAUSA WARNS HAUSA SCAVENGERS

Seriki Hausawa Ejigbo inspecting the scene of the vandaisation
Seriki Hausa and head of Hausa community in Ejigbo Alhaji Mohammed has sounded a note of warning to Hausa scavengers who vandalise peoples’ homes in search of metals to stop forthwith because Allah’s wrath is near.

Speaking with ECD while inspecting the scene of such vandalisation at Aceland Avenue, Alhaji Mohammed said it is very unfortunate that these Hausa scavengers are bringing bad name to his community because of their nefarious activities.

Residents of Aceland Avenue, one of the popular streets on Ailegun CDA Ejigbo just woke up yesterday morning to notice that the iron made culvert at the entrance of the complex had been ripped and taken away in the early hours of the day when the security personnel had gone off duty leaving the gutter very empty without the iron made culvert.

All hands pointed to the ubiquitous Hausa scavengers who roam the streets looking for metal and sometimes vandalise homes in the process. They may have seen the iron culvert as an easy haul and moved it.

Alhaji Mohammed went to the scene with his assistants and met with Eze Alex Nwoye , Eze Ndigbo and Bobaselu of Ejigbo in a conference to nip in the bud what may generate to a mass arrest of scavengers in the LCDA.
