| KSM and Ladies during the retreat |
All the
members of Region 4 of the Lagos Metro Council were on hand to be part of the
all important yearly retreat which is seen as a must attend for all KSM and
their ladies.
The event
which held at St Lawrence Catholic church Isheri Olofin had a jam packed church.
The
moderator of the retreat themed; Remember you are being watched, Rev Father Michael Afrifa admonished the
Knights and Ladies to be of good behavior at all times because all eyes are on
them from all corners of the world watching their every move.
Said Father
Afrifa, “all worthy KSM brothers and Ladies should be mindful of their private
and public behavior because Knights as catholic ambassadors are being watched
not only by God but also by all and sundry including fellow Christians, fellow
Knights and their children”
Father
Afrifa also said that Knights are salt of the earth and must be in the state of
grace at all times adding that all knights should be conscious of their
actions and inactions as eyes of the
general populace is on them.
He also
urged them to live a life of prayer and total commitment when it comes to
issues of the church.
Speaking in
a vote of thanks at the end of the retreat, Grand Knight of Idimu Sub Council Sir Eghorita Francis KSM commended the members
of the region 4 council for a retreat well planned and executed while thanking
the retreat master for a concise presentation.
Also
speaking, the media coordinator of the event Sir Odinaka Iwu KSM expressed
gratitude to God for the success of the retreat
