GANIYU JOHNSON’S AIDE NELLY OKAFOR UNDER FIRE *FOR USING AND DUMPING COLLEAGUES….she no longer picks calls says P.A.

There is this unpalatable news spreading in the neighbourhood that Hon. Nelly Okafor, top aide to Hon. Ganiyu Abiodun Johnson the elected House of Reps candidate for Oshodi Isolo 11 has abandoned her colleagues in the struggle to clinch the election victory.

The unsavory gist says that the campaign group which helped in galvanizing the vote and support of other ethnicities in the constituency is currently in disarray with members scattered.

According to the stories, immediately after Johnson’s House of Reps election was won, Hon. Nelly dumped her field men, stopped picking her calls, got another phone line and moved on. Her colleagues are alleging that Hon. Johnson gave her N20 million to disburse to the group, but that she allegedly kept the cash all to herself.

Everywhere one went, the story is same of how the Enugu state born fashion designer and boutique owner is seemingly on her own enjoying the spoils of the election alone  allegedly abandoning even her P.A. and main political adviser, an Igbo red cap chief from  one of the South eastern states who deployed his entire life to her service before and during the run up to the elections.

ECD learnt that her hard working P.A. who abandoned his job to join the campaign train has taken a job as a security officer at a new joint in the locality to make ends meet while her political and private adviser is busy licking his wounds.

Said an inside source “Nelly has abandoned all of us o. If anyone told me that Nelly will use and dump us in the struggle, I will never believe it.”

Says another who joined the campaign and marched across Ejigbo, Isolo, Ilasa and all over Oshodi Isolo 11during the entire political campaigns “She has picked up a car and stocked her boutique to the brim with new wears and changed her life without even thinking of us. It is very unfortunate.”

Yet another who spoke with ECD “I am not saying she should share her benefits with me but at least we also need to benefit from our enormous work with her. Without the people who supported her, I don’t think that she would have achieved much but she has chosen to dump us like that. She even lavished the money in a mega birthday party. But I leave her with God”.

When Nelly was called for her reaction on the accusations of her changing lines and blowing over N20m alone, she screamed aloud with a hearty laugh.

 According to her “If they say I got N20m, I can only say Amen to that. But let me say it is not everything one will respond or react to. However  I am used to gossips” .
