TRIBUTES CONTINUE TO POUR IN FOR LATE EZE MARTINS OKORO

Late Eze Martins Okoro

Heartfelt tributes have continued to trail the death of Eze Martins Okoro, Eze Obu, after a brief illness.

Eze Okoro was one of the popular custodians of Igbo culture and tradition in Ejigbo and Lagos. He died early Wednesday 10th December 2019.

As Otun Bobaselu and Eze Ndigbo 2 of Ejigbo, he was a member of the elite group of ndieze ndi Igbo in Lagos led by Eze Uche Dimgba, Eze Ndigb Ikeja.

He was a first class business man with interests in marketing of goods and investing, developing and managing of property.

Already, a condolence register is open at his Orole street Ejigbo Palace.
Eze Alex Nwoye, Bobaselu and Eze Ndigbo of Ejigbo who led a delegation of ndi igbo to condole with his family described Eze Okoro as a peace loving man who contributed immensely to the peaceful coexistence between Igbos and their yoruba hosts in Ejigbo particularly and Lagos in general.

“Eze Okoro contributed his quota to the council of Ndieze in Lagos and we will all miss him”

Eze Uche Dimgba Okpotemba, Eze Ndigbo Ikeja said  “ Eze Okoro was one of the mst trustworthy peope I have known. His words were his bond and you could take whatever he told you to the bank. He was our financial secretary in the association of Ndieze ndigb na Uzo ije  and would never miss meetings or come late. His death came as a shock. We will miss him badly. We are already lamenting where to get another prudent financial secretary. We were holding a meeting but found that he was conspicuously absent. When we made a phone call, his son said he was not feeling well. We sent a delegation to his house only to hear that he had been moved to the hospital. It was later that word came that he could not make it. May his soul rest in peace.
