Governor Ayodele Peter Fayose of Ekiti state yesterday said he would do
all within his means to encourage better relations between Nigeria in general
terms, Ekiti state in particular and
China.
Fayose was guest at the celebration of Chinese New Year 2018
held at Oriental Hotels, Lagos.
He told the jam packed hall filled with very attentive audience of Chinese business men and
women as well as top Nigerian dignitaries from government and business circle
that “such a celebration was a family affair as it brings families together.
He said ”When
families are together, the country will be together. I will encourage better
ties between Nigeria and China because we are one family.”
Speaking further Governor Fayose commended China for its
giant strides in development adding that “Chinese business is secured here.
Your investment is secured here. Ekiti would love to collaborate with you not just
in the area of imports only but also in the export of products to China”
