In a
statement by Onyeka Obiosa, “Azaka believed in justice and equity and was
fearless. He died on May Day. It was on a Sunday 1st of May 1994.
This year fully coincided with everything about his death. It is a Sunday and
it is May Day. We decided to
worship God in our various churches then return to his house for light
refreshment. My siblings and I feel happy for the noble ideas he instilled in
all of us and pledge to keep his flag flying very high and at full mast”
Also speaking, one of his daughters Mrs Ojinika Owoseni decsribed her daddy "as one in a million".
