I like to first of all congratulate you on the recent big test of your popularity by your own good self, an exam which you passed out in excellence.

Indeed many have imitated you and have tried to test their own popularity. But they have failed woefully.

Asking for a whooping N100m from those who love you and in a few hours time receiving more than you requested from high worth friends and fans is a world record act.

It shows you are indeed beloved to God and man.

It implies that the long hands of the Almighty God have been long upon you from your conception, birth and up bringing.

No wonder you are named DAVID after the king of Israel, a man after God's heart.

Currently in the news is your plan to spend the money on various charities and orphanages any moment from now.

It is also known that a committee of erudite Nigerians including Professors and Pastors has been constituted to make a selection of who deserves what. Much kudos to you on this high level of thoughtfulness. I doff my hat.

Brother David, it is on the basis of this planned charity drive that I write you this special letter; an appeal.

I wish to appeal and solicit that you please add Hearts of Gold Children's Hospice into your list of beneficiaries.

Ooh yes ... Hearts of Hold Children Hospice, Lagos, don't forget.

And again, Hearts of Gold children Hospice, Lagos, please remember.

I appeal that you and the committee very kindly but very urgently pay a surprise visit to Hearts of Gold Children Hospice, a home for terminally ill children located just about the foot bridge of Masha road, Surulere, Lagos.

Caveat.

Kindly note that I was not contracted to make this appeal. I make it by me, myself and I conviction as a human being, a Nigeria  visitor to the home. 

I am well convinced that only one visit is all it takes for you to get convinced that the children at Hearts of Gold deserve to be part of your charity drive at this time.

It is home to children who are rejected and left to die by society because they seem to have no hope of living. 

Why I urge you to visit

David, I want you to see first hand that such special helpless children with special needs exist under the care of Nigeria's Mother Theresa, Laja Theresa Adedoyin.

Adedoyin left a very lucrative engagement in entertainment, arts and culture business in the UK to “serve God in the most unique way”.

Amaka

A visit to Hearts of Gold Children Hospice will make you hear how an accident left Adedoyin paralyzed for several months causing her to promise God that if she got a healing, she would devote her life to His service. She got a healing and set up the home putting her vast experience as social worker and care giver to prime use in almost two decades.

King David, you are also very likely to find out during the visit to Hearts of Gold that Adedoyin made good her pledge to God by first converting her bungalow into a hostel and then accepting many of these children into the home.

Some time during his tenure as Governor of Lagos state, current minister for works and housing Babatunde Raji Fashola SAN took note of a selfless life of service and sacrifice and dashed the children a befitting home as birthday present.

Again, a visit to Hearts of Gold Children Hospice will make you see the long standing devotion to her children by Adedoyin in concert with her team of doctors, nurses as well as many other volunteers.

Ever cheerful Adedoyin does not fail to express gratitude to all those individuals and corporate organizations who have continued to support the home in the years.

Please Brother David, I want you to visit Hearts of Gold Children Hospice, Lagos because the children are expecting to welcome you.

One of the children who will be over excited at Davido's visit to Hearts of Gold Children Hospice is pretty Amaka Adedoyin.

 Amaka a 16 years old beautiful girl was born without anus and needs very urgent help.

According to Laja Adedoyin in a recent Meta (fb) post, Amaka had undergone the first set of corrective surgeries in Spain and needs more.
